People First
The role of the mayor is to represent the voice and the needs of the community. Having raised family on both sides of Pearland (East and West), I will represent everyone across both sides of Pearland. As a husband, father, and Pearland resident for over 20 years, I understand what Pearland residents face every day, and I’m prepared to take on the responsibility of being the city’s next Mayor.
Smart Infrastructure Growth
Pearland is growing, it needs a mayor with a real vision forward. For too long, vital investments in traffic infrastructure and utilities like water have been ignored. The result is an aging infrastructure, and the highest water bills in the region. As mayor, I will focus on smart infrastructure and strategic growth planning with a cohesive vision for the future of Pearland rooted in impact, accountability, and inclusion to lower our water bills and lower our tax burden.
Safe Communities
Pearland is about family. Folks move to this city to build their family, raise their children, and live a good life. Although that image of Pearland still exists, the material reality is changing. As our infrastructure ages and our population grows, it’s vital that we prioritize safety through smart infrastructure investments measures like street lighting and road repairs, while building on a culture of accountability and transparency from the city that helps provide residents with the updates and information they need to feel safe.
Decrease Traffic
One of Pearland’s biggest draws for folks looking to move here is its close proximity to Houston. Because of that, there are about 70,000 commuters stuck bumper-to-bumper to and from their jobs every day. Those commutes can sometimes be an hour or more each way, and that time from the family adds up. As mayor, I will prioritize strategic traffic infrastructure investments that will alleviate congestion without overspending or creating lengthy construction delays.
Lower Taxes

Decrease Water Bills
Pearland has some of the highest taxes in the state, and even the nation. I will utilize my education and 20 years of experience in finance and project management to cut down on spending and increase efficiency in the city. I will also work with the business community in Pearland to drive new business growth that will create jobs and tax revenue for the city to offset other costs for residents.
